The Enduro 6 mountain bike race proved a good start to the outdoor event season.
The weather turned out to be good and the event was as always first class.
On Saturday the 2nd ever Thunder Run 10km off road running race was held. A large field set off at 10am including several people who would also ride in sunday’s enduro 6 race.
Also on the start line were several dog runners (runners with dogs attached to a harmess) dogs of choice were huskies and dobermans (dobermen?) with a lone alsation thrown in the mix too!
Our Socks and baselayers proved popular not only with the bikers but also the runners. With summer on it’s way the quarter and shorty socks are great for both running and biking.
Lets hope the weather holds for our next event when we head north of the border to the Nevis Range for the 10 Under the Ben mountain bike race on 30/31st May.
